We pay close very attention to the females we use in our breeding program. We look very carefully at the milk production of the females as this is the most important piece of a calves upbringing with respect to producing a high marbling product. To accomplish this we refer back to the Japanese Wagyu approach of rotational breeding or rotating between sires, and dams that have high marbling characteristics, to high maternal genetics, to larger carcass weights.

Rosey traces her lineage to one of the original Wagyu born in the US. Fujiko, which is a very significant bloodline.
